This exhibition has been making an impact across the UK. Starting its journey in London opposite Tower Bridge; it has subsequently been on display in Leeds, Birmingham, Belfast and outside the EU Parliament in Brussels.
Following visits to Manchester, Brighton and Plymouth, this astonishing exhibition visits Cardiff and will be on display on the newly regenerated High Street throughout July.
The striking images show how Canada’s magnificent Boreal Forest is being destroyed in the rush to extract oil from the tar sands just below the surface.
Tarnished Earth contrasts the destruction caused by the oil extraction with the area’s pristine wilderness and the traditional way of life of the indigenous First Nation Cree.
