Taking place from 8-16 July, this year's Welsh Proms Cardiff includes free performances, family events and huge orchestral concerts from the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra and the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera.

This year sees a special Opening Night concert which includes 11 of the world's most popular short classics performed by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra while the Cory Band and Morriston Orpheus Choir team up for a special Brass and Voices Prom on Wednesday 13 July.

There are plenty of free Welsh Proms Fringe events taking place in St David's Hall's L3 Lounge plus Family Fun with the  daily Tiddly Prom  (except 10 July), and the popular Family Prom on Saturday 9 July  (7pm).

Bernstein, Gershwin and John Williams make up the American Prom on 14 July and the famous Last Night of the Welsh Proms rounds things off with an evening of Welsh pride and song.
