Armed Forces Day

This year Cardiff is proud to play host to National Armed Forces Day. With the current conflicts taking place, now more than ever, our forces are gaining worldwide attention. Armed Forces Day will allow us, as nation, to honor the past, present and future of the brave men and women serving our country.

Attended by Senior Military, Civic and Commercial VIPs, the event will be launched with the raising of the flag at Cardiff Castle on Monday 21 June followed by a week of events in the lead up to the main event on Saturday 26 June 2010. The day will commence with a parade through the City Centre to Cardiff Bay where a Drumhead service plus static and dynamic displays from the Army, Navy and RAF will take place.
